Porn has huge benefits and I am all for a little porn to help awaken your libido, but ever thought about reading or creating your own story to embrace a little fantasy and trigger arousal within you, or your partner? Erotic fiction, or literotica, allows YOU to imagine, and create a fantasy in your mind, however you would like to think about it.  Reading erotic fiction is proven to stimulate, but have you considered creating your own story?

Why write your own story? You are in full control of your fantasy! You choose the pace, the traits of the characters, the location, the detail, and you choose the kinks and elements that arouse YOU.  Your imagination can go wild, with whatever level of sexual acts stimulate you.  Whether you are in the mood for steamy sex, a little BDSM, role-playing or alternative sexual play through creating your own story you get to feel a part of the story, and maybe even feel as though you are in the story. It could be a story about you and your partner, or it may be a little word play with a fantasy you have never considered to see how your partner responds to the suggestion.

Every story ever written is for entertainment and an audience is targeted with the content.  If you write your own story, you get to tailor your story to your desires.  Even better – you could create one for your partner!

I am not offering to help create ‘porn stories’ though, I am suggesting ‘erotic fiction’.  Porn stories are written for the purpose of sexual gratification.  Plot, character development and romance are not core to these stories and they are designed to incite the reader to orgasm and not much else whereas erotica are stories written about the sexual journey of the characters and how this impacts them as individuals.  A true erotic story values emotion and character growth but does not show the development of a romantic relationship. The focus of erotica is the individual characters’ journeys with the focus on their sexual aspects.  They do not need to have a ‘Happily Ever After’ either!
